Child
Care Resource & Referral provides services to child care providers,
families, and children by promoting and facilitating affordable, quality
child care through assistance, education and advocacy in Will, Grundy,
Kendall and Kankakee Counties. CCR&R is a non-profit agency.
The
Parent Referral Department assists families looking for child
care by providing a list of referrals, not recommendations, of child
care providers who meet the families specific needs. Employer
services are also available, such as enhanced referral services, on-site
presentations, and ongoing support benefits for employees. The Parent

The Child
Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is available to families who are
income eligible and are working or attending an approved education
and training program. The CCAP Department can be reached at: (800)

The Training
Department provides support and training to child care providers
and those interested in becoming providers. The Training Department
can be reached at (815) 741-1163, option 5.
The Social-Emotional
Learning Facilitation Program (SELF) offers child care homes and
centers the support of professional consultants regarding behavioral
issues with children they serve. The SELF Program can be reached at
