Play echo: Make sounds and ask your youngster to imitate you.
Plan a home fire drill. Check batteries in your smoke detector.
Watvch a television show with your child...ask questions about what's happening...who are the characters?
Include some fresh fruit for breakfast: bananas, strawberries, or grapes.
Gather up some kids for a game of "Mother, May I?"
Is it warm today? Look at a thermometer: What's the temperature?
Fix some lemon-tea: one-half iced tea, one-half lemonade. Put some graham crackers on a pretty plate and have a snack under a tree.
Silent Dinner. Make a chart with motions to indicate actions: raise left hand for potatoes; blink twice for milk; thumbs up for more meat loaf.
Construct a boat from an empty egg carton. Give it a name. Float it in the bathtub.
